Fault in the variable-effort steering system. This may result in a steering wheel effort that is higher or lower than normal. Contact a workshop.

Lane Departure Warning

lights up green or flashes
yellow.

The system is powered and ready for operation

Flashes yellow

The system detects an unintended lane change.

Ultrasonic Parking Assist

lights up yellow.

System fault

or

Fault due to dirty or frost- or snow-covered sensors

or

Interference from external ultrasonic sources. Once these sources of interference are removed, the system operates correctly again.

Have the cause of the problem rectified by a workshop.

Electronic Stability Control off

lights up yellow.

The system is switched off.

Electronic Stability Control and traction control system

lights up or flashes yellow.

Lit

A fault is present in the system. It is possible to continue driving. However, driving stability may be reduced depending on road conditions.

Have the cause of the problem rectified by a workshop.

Flashing

The system is actively engaged.

Engine power may be reduced and the vehicle may be braked slightly automatically.

Traction Control System off

lights up yellow.

The system is switched off.

Glow plug preheating

lights up yellow.

Preheating is active. It only switches on when the outside temperature is low.

Particulate filter (for diesel)

lights up or flashes yellow.

The particulate filter must be cleaned.

Continue driving untilgoes out. If possible, do not
let the engine speed drop below 2,000 rpm.

Lit

The particulate filter is full. Start the cleaning process as soon as possible.

Flashing

The maximum filling level of the filter has been reached. Start the cleaning process immediately to avoid damaging the engine.
