Illuminates when the ignition is switched on and goes out shortly after the engine starts.

If it illuminates while the engine is running

Notice

Engine lubrication may be interrupted. This can cause engine damage and/or the drive wheels to lock.

  1. Depress the clutch pedal.
  2. Put the transmission in neutral, move the selector lever to N.
  3. Leave the traffic lane as soon as possible without obstructing other vehicles.
  4. Switch off the ignition.

Caution

When the engine is off, greater force is required to brake and steer.

During Auto Stop, the brake booster remains operational.

Do not remove the key until the vehicle is stopped, to avoid the steering lock engaging unintentionally.

Check the oil level before contacting a workshop 206.
