During the first trips, do not brake hard unless necessary.

On the first trip, smoke may form due to wax and oil evaporating from the exhaust system. Park the vehicle outdoors for a while after the first trip and avoid breathing the vapors.

Engine oil and fuel consumption may be higher, and the diesel particulate filter regeneration process may occur more often.

Ignition switch positions
