Filters

Replacement of filter elements (air filter, cabin filter, diesel filter, etc.) is included in your vehicle's maintenance operations.

Filter element replacement frequency: refer to your vehicle's maintenance document.

Before carrying out any work in the engine compartment, it is essential to switch off the ignition by pressing the engine stop button (refer to the section "starting and stopping the engine" in chapter 2).

When working under the bonnet, make sure the wiper control is in the off position.

When working near the engine, be aware that it may be hot. The cooling fan may also start at any time.
