Opening

Press button 1 and lift the tailgate.

Closing

Close the tailgate using the interior handles 2.

Manual opening from inside

If the luggage compartment lock cannot be released, the luggage compartment can be opened manually from inside.

• access the luggage compartment by folding down the rear bench seat backrest(s);
• insert a pencil or similar object into recess 3 and move it as shown in the illustration;
• Push the tailgate to open it.

Do not mount any roof racks or carriers (for bicycles, luggage boxes, etc.) on the tailgate. To fit a carrier, contact an authorized dealer.
