Carrying items in the luggage compartment
In this manual: Driving comfort
~1min read
Items being carried should be arranged so that their largest surface rests against:

- Rear seat backrest, as for normal loading (case A).

- Front seat backrests with the rear seat backrests folded down, as for maximum load (case B).
If you need to place items on a folded backrest, always remove the headrests before folding the backrest, so that the backrest can sit as close to the seat as possible.

Always place the heaviest items directly on the floor. If the vehicle is equipped with them, use the anchor points 1 fitted to the boot floor.
Load luggage so that no item can become a hazard to passengers in the event of sudden braking. The rear seat belts must always be fastened, even if no passengers are sitting in those seats.
