Tools

The number and type of tools in the kit depends on the vehicle version.

Tool kit A is located in the luggage compartment, under the floor covering.

Lift the cover, then remove it;

Wheel brace 1

Used to tighten or loosen the wheel bolts and the towing eye 5.

Jack 2

Fold the jack correctly before returning it to its place (the handle must be correctly positioned).

Hubcap tool 3

Used to remove the hubcaps.

Wheel bolt socket 4

For fully loosening or preliminary tightening of the wheel bolts.

Towing eye 5

Lever 6

Used to fit or release the towing eye 5.

Tools must always be correctly stowed, otherwise they may fly loose during braking. After use, secure the tools in the kit, then store the kit correctly in the compartment: risk of injury. If bolts are supplied with the spare wheel, use them only to fit the spare wheel.

The jack is intended only for changing a wheel. Under no circumstances may it be used for carrying out repairs or to gain better access to the underbody components.
