WHAT TO DO

Vibrations. Underinflated tyres or damaged or unbalanced wheels. Check the tyre pressures. If they are correct, have the tyres checked by an Authorised Renault Partner.
White smoke is coming from the exhaust system. On diesel versions, this does not necessarily indicate a fault; the smoke is caused by regeneration of the particulate filter. See section "Specific features of diesel engine versions" in chapter 2.
Smoke coming from under the engine bonnet. Short circuit or leak in the cooling system Stop the vehicle, switch off the ignition, step away from the vehicle and contact an Authorised Renault Partner.
The oil pressure warning light comes on: when cornering or braking Oil level too low. Top up the engine oil (see the section "Engine oil level: topping up, filling the system" in chapter 4).

The engine is overheating. The coolant temperature gauge needle is in the warning zone and the warning lamp lights up.Radiator fan failure. Stop, switch off the engine and contact an Authorised Renault Partner.
Coolant leak. Check the coolant reservoir: it must contain coolant. If it is empty, contact an Authorised Renault Partner as soon as possible.
Coolant boiling in the expansion tank. Mechanical fault: cylinder head gasket failure. Switch off the engine.

Contact an Authorised Dacia Partner.

Radiator: If there is a large loss of coolant, never top up the level with cold coolant while the engine is hot. After any repair where the coolant has been drained, even partially, the cooling system must be refilled with new coolant to the correct level.
