Auxiliary heater

Operation (for vehicles without a range extender)
If the outside temperature is below approximately 5°C, switch on the ignition, press button 1. Indicator 2 on the instrument panel lights green, the fan speed automatically switches to position 2 and the auxiliary heater starts operating.
To switch it off, press button 1 again.

Special feature
- If indicator 2 is on but no warm air is blowing, check that temperature control knob 3 is not set to the cold air position.
- If indicator 2 on the instrument panel does not light, only the electric heater is operating.
- After switching off, you may need to restart the auxiliary heater. To do so, press button 1 again.

If the heater becomes noisy during operation, set it to maximum heat and maximum fan speed for approximately ten minutes.

Indicator light 2 comes on
- Solid green: the auxiliary heater is operating.
- Flashing green: outside temperature is above approximately 5°C.
- Indicator off: only the electric heater is operating.

Fuel tank
Usable tank capacity: approximately 9.5 litres.
Use unleaded petrol only.
When indicator 4 lights, approximately 15 minutes of heating remain.
The auxiliary heater runs on fuel combustion, so it is normal for it to produce smoke.
Do not run the auxiliary heater in an enclosed space: the exhaust gases are toxic.
