Heating and ventilation

Controls
- Air distribution.
- Air temperature adjustment.
- Adjusting the airflow into the cabin.
- Recirculation and heating timer control.
Adjusting the air temperature
Turn button B until the heating indicator light stays on
on the instrument panel.
The further the button is turned to the right, the higher the temperature.
Air distribution in the passenger compartment
Operate control A.
- Position

Airflow is directed only to the dashboard vents.
Closing all vents is not compatible with this selection.
- Position

Airflow is directed to the dashboard vents and to the front and rear occupant footwells.
- Position

Airflow is distributed among all vents, the front side window demisters, the windscreen demisting strips and the front and rear occupant footwells.

- Position

For better efficiency, close the central dashboard vents and direct the side vents towards the side windows.
All airflow is then directed to the windscreen demisting strips and the front side window demisters.
Adjusting the airflow into the cabin
Operate control C from 0 to 4.
Ventilation in the vehicle cabin is called "forced air" ventilation.
The fan determines the amount of incoming air, although vehicle speed has a small influence.
This principle improves temperature stability in the cabin.
The higher the control is set, the greater the amount of forced air.
Special feature
If control C is set to 0 when heating is requested, speed 1 will be selected automatically.

Cabin isolation
Normal system operation uses outside air.
Air recirculation isolates you from the outside environment (driving through polluted areas, etc.).
To switch to isolation mode, set control D to the position
.
This function reaches the desired comfort level more quickly.
It switches air recirculation on or off. In this position, air is taken from the cabin and recirculated without admitting outside air.
Prolonged use of isolation mode may cause odours due to non-renewed air and possible fogging of the windows.
It is therefore advisable to switch back to normal operation (outside air)
by operating control D as soon as you leave the polluted area.
