Oil consumption

OIL CONSUMPTION MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

a) Maximum level top-up

This operation must be carried out with the engine warm (one rotation of the GMV) and after a 15-minute stabilisation period to allow all the oil to drain into the sump.

Carry out a visual check on the dipstick.

Top up to the maximum level.

Seal the drain plug (apply a paint mark to both the filler cap and the sump drain plug) so that it can be checked later that it has not been removed.

b) Customer driving

Ask the customer to drive approximately 2,000 km or until the minimum level is reached.

c) Topping up to maximum level
