This part may be partially replaced following cuts (a) and (b): operation complementary to roof replacement for a side collision.

Information on related parts is covered in their respective sections (see contents).

Note: If the spot welds cannot be made with the spot welder, they may be replaced with plug welds.

3-door and van version

Specific feature of 3-door version

WARNING

The spare parts store only supplies front body side sections (1) for 3-door and van versions.

For 5-door versions, the section common to 3-door and van versions (front pillars) must be kept and the middle pillar removed.

In case of a major impact, the rear wing panel (2) must additionally be ordered to complete the body side.

Note: Parts (1) and (2) are supplied long enough to provide an overlap with the replacement parts.

Note: It is possible to make cut (a) in area (X1).

Note: It is not advisable to make cut (b) beyond this limit, to avoid cutting the anti-intrusion reinforcement and the swelling insert.
