Tightening torques
tyre pressure monitoring sensor retaining nut 0.8 daN.m

REPLACEMENT

  • Always replace the following parts:
  • the seal (1),
  • the mechanism (2),
  • the cap (3).
  • Replace if necessary:
  • the retaining nut (4),
  • the colour marker (5).

WARNING

Make sure the sensor is correctly positioned on the rim:

  • figure 1 = incorrect refitting,
  • figure 2 = correct refitting.
  • Position the sensor in the valve hole, checking that the seal is engaged around the full circumference of the hole.
  • Tighten the tyre pressure monitoring system sensor retaining nut to 0.8 daN.m.
Note: After using a tyre sealant aerosol, clean the valve before refitting it to the rim.
