Child safety switches

~1min read

When locking, a red indicator (controlled by the cabin control unit) lights up on the switch.

This switch is used to inhibit the opening of the rear doors and the opening of the windows (depending on vehicle equipment).

Note: Removal of the switch is the same as for the driver's window lifter.

When the vehicle is fitted with one-touch window lifters, the child safety control either switches or does not switch the control ground of the rear one-touch window lifter switches, and informs the cabin control unit of its state.

Note: When child safety is active, the resistance between terminals A3 and B1 is infinite.
