Sunroof opening motor: Initialisation

IMPORTANT

• If the battery is disconnected, an electrical fault occurs or the sunroof is worked on, the system will only operate in manual mode, with jerky movement.
• the anti-pinch function is only operational if the sunroof has been correctly initialised (see below).

• Initialise the motor:

• set switch (1) to the closed position,
• press and hold the switch for at least two seconds: the motor moves in step-by-step mode, then lowers a few centimetres,
• release the switch,
• press the switch again within 5 seconds,
• hold the switch: the sunroof opens then closes to the slide position,
• the motor is initialised,
• set the switch to "off".

In some cases, only the first three steps are sufficient for initialisation.

WARNING

It is important to wait at least 3 seconds before any new action on the control.

Note: A time of 5 seconds must not be exceeded between two actions during the initialisation procedure, otherwise the electronics will start a new initialisation cycle.
