Note: For removal and refitting of the front window lifter mechanism, (Side opening panels chapter) in MR 365 - Bodywork.
  • The method is identical for all versions of electric window lifter motors (one-touch or non one-touch).
  • The motor cannot be replaced on its own. Replacing it requires replacing the complete mechanism.

One-touch window lifter motors incorporate an inseparable electronic module.

One-touch electric window lifters include the anti-pinch function.

IMPORTANT

It is essential to initialise the one-touch electric window lifter motors to reactivate the anti-pinch function (Battery chapter).

Note: If the one-touch window lifter motors are not initialised:
  • the windows move up or down in pulse mode,
  • remote window closing (two short presses on the RENAULT badge or door lock button) does not work.
