Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. DISCONNECT the air duct (A).
  4. Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly. Tightening torque: Hose clamp bolt: 2.9 ~ 4.9 N·m Air cleaner mounting bolts: 7.8 ~ 9.8 N·m
    1. Disconnect the breather hose (A), RCV hose (B), booster vacuum hose (C), and air intake hose (D).
    2. Remove the air filter assembly (E).
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Open the service cover (A).
  7. Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one.
