Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the intake hoses and intercooler tube (A). Tightening torque Bolt: 19.6 ~ 26 N·m Clamp: 4.9 ~ 6.8 N·m
  3. Remove the intercooler outlet hose (A).

    Tightening torque: 4.9 - 6.8 N·m

  4. Remove the front bumper cover. (Refer to Body – Front Bumper.)
  5. Remove the intercooler air guard (A).
  6. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor connector (A) from the RCV solenoid valve connector (B).
  7. Disconnect the vacuum hose (C).
  8. Remove the intercooler upper mounting bracket (A), then remove the intercooler (B).

    Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.7 N·m

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
