Description

[AGM Battery] The AGM battery is used for vehicles with particularly heavy electrical loads depending on the equipment and requirements. AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat battery; it uses an absorbent glass fiber mat. AGM batteries are installed in models with high electrical loads/consumers and high energy demand. The constantly growing power demand of modern vehicle electrical systems requires increasingly powerful battery solutions. Energy consumption is significant even when the vehicle is parked. The slightly higher price compared to a conventional battery of similar size is fully offset by the following advantages:
  • Significantly longer service life
  • Improved starting reliability at low temperatures
  • 100% maintenance-free
  • Low risk in the event of an accident (reduced environmental risk)
