Replacement
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or a trim tool, wrap the tool with protective tape and apply protective tape to the surrounding parts to prevent damage.
  • Be careful not to scratch the body surface.
  1. Remove the trunk lid trim. (Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")
  2. Loosen the trunk lid key holder mounting nuts.
  3. Remove the trunk lid key holder (B) and disconnect the trunk lid key holder cable (A).

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 8.8 N·m

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the trunk lid latches/unlatches and opens/closes properly.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
