Seat heaters

Turns on the seat heater. The indicator light comes on.

■ Seat heaters can be used when

Vehicles without smart entry & start system The key in the ignition switch is in the "ON" position.

Vehicles with smart entry & start system The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.

■ When not in use Turn off the seat heater by pressing the switch. The indicator light goes off.

■ Burns

• Take great care when seating people while the heater is operating to avoid possible burns, especially in the case of:

• Infants, small children, the elderly, the sick and the disabled
• People with sensitive skin
• Fatigued persons
• Persons who have consumed alcohol or drowsiness-inducing substances (sleeping pills, cold medicine, etc.)

• Do not cover the seat while the seat heater is operating.

If the seat heater is used with a blanket or cushion, the seat temperature rises and there is a risk of overheating.

Do not use the seat heater longer than necessary. Doing so may cause minor burns or overheating.

NOTE

■ To avoid damaging the seat heater Do not place objects with an unevenly distributed weight on the seat, and do not insert sharp objects (needles, nails, etc.) into the seat.

■ To avoid discharging the battery Turn off the seat heaters when the engine is off.
