Since it is not possible to include wiring diagrams for all vehicle models and years covered in this manual, the most typical diagrams, which are referenced most often, are provided below.

Before beginning diagnosis of any electrical circuit, check the fuses and circuit breakers (if equipped) to make sure they are in good condition. Check the battery charge and make sure the battery cable connections are clean and secure.

When checking wires, make sure all connections and connectors are clean, with no broken or poorly connected terminals. When disconnecting a connector, do not pull on the wires; grasp only the connector housing.
