Removing

  • Switch off electrical consumers.
  • Switch off auxiliary and supplementary heater and switch off ignition.
  • Remove front part of front right wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
  • Squeeze spreader clip -1- together and twist air intake silencer -2- out of aluminium pipe. Twist aluminium pipe off connection of auxiliary and supplementary heater.

Installing

  • Install in reverse order.
  • Push spreader clip -1- of air intake silencer -2- into bracket until it engages.
Note The air intake silencer must not touch the auxiliary and supplementary heater housing.

Do not kink or crush aluminium pipe.

Specified torque
