Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removal wedge -3409-

Note Only vehicles with air conditioning system; on vehicles with heater, opening in heater is sealed off.

Removing

  • Remove glove compartment → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
Removing and installing evaporator temperature sensor -G308-, LHD vehicles
  • Release evaporator temperature sensor -G308- using removal wedge -3409-.
  • Pull evaporator temperature sensor -G308--2- out of the housing.
  • Disconnect electrical connector -1-.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Specified torques:

Compartments/covers; Assembly overview - glove compartment → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
