Note Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side. Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783

Removing

  • Fold down rear seat backrests.
  • Remove luggage compartment floor towards rear.
  • Remove bolts -2-.
  • Remove luggage compartment floor covering bracket -1-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
