The exhaust system consists of the following components: exhaust manifold, turbocharger if equipped, front pipe with catalytic converter, and center and rear mufflers. Depending on the engine version and drive type – front-wheel or all-wheel drive – the exhaust system may have design differences.

The center and rear mufflers in production vehicles form a single assembly. During repair they may be separated from each other and are available for sale as individual spare parts. The exhaust system components are connected to each other by bolts and clamps and can be replaced separately. Replace self-locking nuts and gaskets with new ones after removal. Inspect the retaining rings and rubber mounts for damage and replace them with new ones if necessary.
