About this Owner's Manual

This Owner's Manual contains important information, recommendations, suggestions and warnings relating to the use of the vehicle.

Make sure the Owner's Manual is always kept in the vehicle. This is particularly important if you lend the vehicle to third parties or sell it.

This Owner's Manual describes the vehicle equipment at the time of going to print. Some of the equipment described here will only be available later or is only offered in certain countries.

Some sections of this Owner's Manual do not apply to all vehicles. In such cases, the vehicles concerned are indicated at the beginning of the section, e.g.: "Applies to vehicles: with auxiliary heater". Optional equipment is also marked with an asterisk "*".

The illustrations may differ in some details from the actual appearance of your vehicle. They are primarily intended to show an operating principle.

At the beginning of this Owner's Manual you will find a table of contents listing all the topics described in order. At the end of this Owner's Manual you will find an alphabetical index.

All directional indications, e.g. "left", "right", "front", "rear", refer to the direction of travel of the vehicle.
