1. Check the engine oil level and top up if necessary.
2. Drive the vehicle until the engine is warm. Oil temperature should be approximately +80°C.
3. The oil pressure switch is located on the oil filter housing. Unscrew bolt (2) and remove the oil filter housing cover so that oil drains back into the engine. Refer to the accompanying illustration.

* Another oil filter design with a threaded cover is available. Refer to the section Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.

4. Отсоедините кабель от реле указателя давления масла (12) и выверните его.

4. Disconnect the cable from the oil pressure switch (12) and unscrew the switch.
5. Install a pressure gauge in place of the switch.
6. Refit the oil filter housing cover.
7. Start the engine and run at idle speed. Oil pressure for all engines must be at least 0.5 bar.
8. Increase engine speed to 5000 - 6000 rpm. Oil pressure must be between 4.0 bar (3.8 bar for diesel engines) and 4.7 bar.
9. Install the oil pressure switch with a new sealing ring and tighten it to 20 N·m. Connect the cable.
10. Tighten the cover on the oil filter housing to 20 N·m.
11. If oil pressure differs from the specified value, refer to the section Lubrication System Fault Diagnosis.
