Manual release and locking of the transmission
In the event of a power supply interruption (for example, a discharged or disconnected battery or an electrical fault), the transmission must be released manually, otherwise the rear wheels will remain locked and the vehicle cannot be towed.◄
When releasing the transmission manually, depress the brake pedal, otherwise the vehicle may start to roll.◄
Release the transmission manually only for subsequent towing of the vehicle. After parking the vehicle, lock the transmission again.
