Roof Rack

~1min read

A roof rack designed for your BMW is available.

Observe the recommendations in its installation instructions.

Loading the Roof

Cargo placed on the roof shifts the vehicle's center of gravity. This noticeably changes the dynamic characteristics and handling of the vehicle. Therefore, when transporting luggage, do not exceed the maximum roof load, gross vehicle weight or axle loads.

Corresponding data can be found in the chapter Weights.

Place luggage on the roof evenly and compactly. Heavy items go on the bottom. Make sure the load on the roof does not interfere with the sunroof and does not prevent opening the tailgate.

Proper and secure fastening of cargo prevents it from shifting and falling off the vehicle while driving.

Drive smoothly, avoiding abrupt starts, hard braking and aggressive cornering.
