Speed Selection
Set the speed taking traffic density into account and be ready to brake at any time. The system cannot compensate for a large speed difference between your vehicle and vehicles ahead (for example, when you are approaching a truck or when another vehicle cuts into your lane).◄
Step Speed Increase
Push the lever forward (arrow 1) to the detent point or beyond the detent point as many times as necessary to set the required speed.
► Each push of the switch to the detent point increases the set speed by approximately 1 km/h.
► Each push of the switch beyond the detent point rounds the speed value up to the next ten.
The last set speed value is stored in memory and maintained when driving on a clear lane.
Gradual Speed Increase
Push the lever forward (arrow 1) to the detent point or beyond it, and hold it until the vehicle accelerates to the desired speed.
The last set speed value is stored in memory and maintained when driving on a clear lane.
Step Speed Reduction
Pull the lever toward you (arrow 2) as many times as necessary to reduce the speed to the required value.
The other functions work in the same way as the acceleration functions, except that the speed is reduced.
