Cruise control system
Cruise Control
The system can be used starting from a speed of 30 km/h. In this case, the system stores and maintains the speed you set with the steering column lever switch.
Do not use the cruise control system when frequent curves, heavy traffic or poor road conditions (snow, rain, ice, loose surface) do not allow driving at a constant speed. Otherwise you may lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident.◄
Multifunction control switch

1 Setting and maintaining the current speed; accelerating
2 Setting and maintaining the current speed; decelerating
3 Cruise control interruption
4 Resuming the stored speed
Setting and maintaining current speed; acceleration
Press the lever switch to the activation point in direction 1: the system stores and subsequently maintains the current speed. The indication 1 on the speedometer, see below, means the set speed. With each further press of the switch the set speed increases by approximately 1 km/h.
Press the switch to the activation point and hold it: the vehicle accelerates without pressing the accelerator pedal. When you release the switch, the system stores and maintains the speed reached at that moment.
Press the lever switch past the activation point: the set speed increases by 10 km/h.
If engine braking is insufficient when driving downhill, the set speed may be exceeded. Conversely, on an uphill grade the vehicle may fall below the set speed if engine power is insufficient.
Setting and maintaining the current speed; deceleration
Pull the lever switch toward you, see arrow 2: operation is similar to item 1, except that the set speed decreases.
System interruption
Push the lever up or down, see arrow 3.
In addition, system operation is interrupted automatically:
► when braking;
► when the clutch pedal is depressed or when the automatic transmission/SMG is shifted to position N;
► when the DSC system is intervening.
Resuming the stored speed
Press button 4: the system will bring the vehicle to the set speed and maintain it.
Switching off the system
The system switches off together with the ignition.
The stored speed value is erased.
