Preparing to Change the Wheel

1. Observe the safety instructions above.

2. Secure the vehicle against rolling: place a wheel chock under the front wheel on the opposite side of the vehicle (on level ground, behind the wheel; on a downhill slope, in front of it). On a steep road gradient, take additional measures to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

3. Loosen the wheel bolts by half a turn.
