Installing the Wheel

1. Unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel.
2. Clean dirt from the wheel hub and wheel bolts.
3. Install the wheel (regular spare or compact spare) and screw in at least two diagonally opposite bolts.

When installing non-BMW alloy wheels, use the wheel bolts supplied with them.

4. Thread in the remaining bolts and tighten all bolts securely in a crisscross sequence.

5. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack.
