The side curtain airbag system consists of airbags installed in the roof frame on each side. These airbags can be identified by the AIRBAG label on the roof pillars.

The side curtain airbags deploy in the event of an impact of sufficient force to the specified area. The ignition must be switched on.

There must be no obstructions in the area where the airbag deploys.

Only lightweight clothing (without hangers) may be hung on the grab handle hooks located above the doors. No foreign objects should be in the pockets of this clothing.
