General
PREAMBLE
The instrument cluster, of traditional appearance, is a control unit on the CONFORT VAN network. The instrument cluster consists of the following elements:
- warning and information lamps,
- gauges and indicators (levels, temperatures, speed, etc.),
- a liquid crystal display including a maintenance indicator, an oil level indicator and odometers,
- adjustment switches (brightness, trip odometer reset, etc.).
The instrument cluster communicates with the other control units on the CONFORT VAN network and has self-diagnosis functions. The technician can perform the following operations using the LEXIA and PROXIA tools:
- reading data,
- writing data,
- actuator testing and output control,
- resetting certain information.

Liquid crystal display
The liquid crystal display shows the following items:
- service indicator,
- oil level indicator,
- trip odometer,
- total odometer.
Each time +APC is switched on, the liquid crystal display is activated.
The display goes through different modes, following the sequence below.

Note: Pressing the odometer reset switch while the oil level is displayed interrupts the sequence and switches the display to odometer mode.
Connector: pin assignment
Note: Pin assignment varies depending on instrument cluster level; the connector remains the same for all.
