Exterior mirrors

Each fitted with an adjustable mirror providing the rear side view needed when overtaking or parking. They can also be folded.

Adjustment

Ignition on:

  • move control A to the right or left to select the corresponding mirror,
  • move control B in the four directions to make the adjustment,
  • return control A to the centre position.
Objects seen in the mirrors are actually closer than they appear. Take this into account when judging the distance to vehicles approaching from behind.

Defrosting/demisting of the exterior mirrors is linked to that of the rear window.

Folding

  • from outside; lock the vehicle using the remote control or key.
  • from inside; ignition on, pull control A rearward.

If the mirrors have been folded using control A, they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Control A must be pulled again.

Extension

  • from outside; unlock the vehicle using the remote control or key.
  • from inside; ignition on, pull control A rearward.

If the position has been changed manually, a long press on control A re-engages the mirror.

Folding and unfolding of the exterior mirrors using the remote control can be disabled by the CITROËN network.

Interior rear-view mirror

Adjustable mirror providing central rear view.

Fitted with an anti-glare feature, useful in low light.

Adjustment

  • Adjust the mirror to correctly orient the mirror in the "day" position.

Day/night position

  • Pull the lever to switch to the anti-glare "night" position.
  • Push the lever to switch to the normal "day" position.

For safety, the mirrors must be adjusted to reduce the "blind spot".

Automatic day/night mode

Automatic day/night model

Using a sensor that measures the light coming from behind the vehicle, this system automatically and progressively switches between day and night use.

It features an anti-glare function that darkens the mirror glass, reducing driver discomfort caused by the headlights of following vehicles, sunlight, etc.

To ensure optimum visibility during manoeuvres, the mirror automatically clears as soon as reverse gear is engaged.

On vehicles fitted with electrochromic exterior mirrors, the system has an on/off switch and an associated indicator light.

On

  • Switch on the ignition and press switch 1 .

Indicator light 2 comes on and the mirror operates automatically.

Off

  • Press switch 1 .

Indicator light 2 goes off and the mirror remains in its clearest setting.
