Rear seats
The rear seats of the Citroën C6 offer not only comfort but also versatile features. The head restraints can be adjusted or stowed as required. Rear head restraints
The rear head restraints have two positions:
- A stowed position when the seat is not occupied.
- A raised position to ensure occupant safety. To do so, pull the head restraint up until it locks, even if a forward-facing child seat is installed.
To lower the head restraints, press the lug at the base of the restraints.
To remove, pull the head restraints out to the stop and press the release control.
Rear bench seat heating controls
The rear seats can be heated separately.
Activate the heating using controls C under the rear storage compartment.
Pack Lounge seat heating controls
The Pack Lounge seats can be heated separately.
Use control D on the outside of the seats to select one of three heating levels with the adjustment wheel:
0: Off.
1: Low.
2: Medium.
3: High.
The seat temperature is regulated automatically.
Note: Seat heating only works when the engine is running.
Folding rear bench seat
The rear seat can be folded down fully or partially. To do so, remove the head restraints first.
Seat cushion
Lift the front part of the seat cushion using the strap, then fold it against the backrests of the front seats. When folding the seat cushion back, make sure the seat belt buckles are correctly aligned.
Long-object pass-through flap
A flap in the backrest behind the armrest allows long objects to be transported.
Before loading objects into the vehicle, lower the roller blind inside and make sure the objects are secured correctly and do not obstruct the operation of the gear lever.
This flap can be concealed by a cover that folds over with a tab.
Locking/unlocking boot access via the rear seat
Seat cushion folded down.
Stow the head restraints.
Press control A at the end of the backrest and fold it fully forward.
The rear seat backrest can be folded down in two parts. When folding the backrest back up, make sure it locks into place correctly.
The luggage compartment of the vehicle can be separated from the passenger compartment.
To lock access to the luggage compartment:
- Align the rear seat correctly.
Rear center belt
To make it easier to open belt cover D, first pull out the center head restraint.
Slide the first belt C into the front left housing (black) and then slide the second belt B into the front right housing.
Before any work
To avoid damaging or pinching the seat belts, hold them carefully on the sides of the backrest.
