Front seat belts
The front seat belts are fitted with pyrotechnic pretensioners and a force limiter.
The system improves safety for the front seats in the event of a frontal or side impact. Depending on the severity of the impact, the pyrotechnic pretensioners immediately tighten the belt and pull it against the occupant's body.
The pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioners operate when the ignition is switched on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure of the belt on the occupant's chest, improving their safety.

Fastening
- Pull the belt, then insert the tongue into the buckle.
- Check that the belt is secure by pulling on it.
Removal
- Press the red button on the buckle.
- Hold the belt while it retracts.
Unfastened seat belt warning light
After switching on the ignition, if the driver and/or front passenger do not fasten their seat belts, this warning lamp will light up in the instrument cluster.
Above 20 km/h the warning lamp will flash for about two minutes and a rising audible signal will sound. After two minutes, the lamp will stay on until the driver and/or passenger fasten their seat belts.
