Active City Brake is a driver assistance function designed to avoid a frontal collision or to reduce the speed of impact if the driver does not react or reacts too weakly (brake pedal pressed too lightly).

This system has been designed to increase driving safety. The driver remains responsible for continuously monitoring the traffic situation and assessing distance and speed relative to other vehicles. Active City Brake does not in any way allow the driver to reduce their attention. Never look at the laser sensor through optical equipment (magnifying glass, microscope, etc.) from a distance of less than 10 centimetres: risk of eye damage.
