The AUTO symbol and the selected
gear are displayed in the instrument panel.

The gearbox switches to fully automatic mode, without driver intervention.

The gear is selected automatically according to the following parameters:

  • optimum fuel consumption,
  • driving style,
  • road profile,
  • vehicle load.

For maximum acceleration, for example when overtaking another vehicle, press the accelerator pedal firmly past the detent point.

You can change mode at any time by moving the gear selector from A to M or vice versa.

Never select position N while driving.

Temporary manual override of gear changes

You can temporarily take control of gear changes using the "+" and "-" steering wheel controls: if engine speed allows it, the gear change request is carried out.

This function can be used in predictable situations, such as overtaking or approaching a bend.

After a few seconds without using the controls, the gearbox returns to automatic gear changes.
