If the needle is in the following position with the engine running:

  • in zone A, the temperature is correct,
  • in zone B, the temperature is too high; the maximum temperature warning light 1 and the STOP central warning light illuminate red, an audible signal sounds, and a message appears on the multifunction display.

Stop the vehicle immediately in a safe place.

Wait a few minutes before switching off the engine.

Contact a CITROËN dealership or a qualified workshop.

After a few minutes of driving, the temperature and pressure in the cooling system increase.

To top up the level:

  • wait for the engine to cool down,
  • turn the cap two turns to release the pressure,
  • if the pressure drops, remove the cap,
  • top up the level to the "MAXI" mark.
