Care recommendations
General service recommendations for the vehicle are given in the service and warranty booklet.
Textured paint
Under light, textured paint changes appearance and colour rendering, emphasising the body lines and sculpted shape of the vehicle. The paint in this finish contains particles that remain visible and create a unique satin effect.
Its slightly granular texture gives an unusual feel when touched.
Observe the following recommendations to avoid damaging the paintwork:- Choose pressure washing or at least a high-volume water spray; roller-type car washes are permitted.
- Wipe the bodywork with a clean microfibre cloth using smooth movements, without vigorous rubbing.
- Gently wipe any fuel stains on the bodywork with a soft cloth, then leave to dry.
- Clean minor stains (e.g. fingerprints...) using a product from the "TECHNATURE" range intended for removing insect residue.
However:
- Do not select a car wash programme with a hot wax finish.
- Do not opt for waterless cleaning.
- Never polish the vehicle.
- Do not use paint cleaners, abrasive or polishing products, or glossing preservatives (e.g. wax).
Paintwork repairs should be carried out at a CITROËN dealership or a specialist workshop.
Leather
Leather is a natural material. Regular and proper care is essential to ensure its long service life.
Refer to the service and warranty booklet for the recommendations and precautions to observe.Maintenance of adhesive trim elements
These personalisation elements are durable and resistant to peeling.
They are designed to give the bodywork an individual look.
They are also available as accessories, and we recommend fitting them at a CITROËN dealership or a specialist workshop.
When washing the vehicle, keep the high-pressure lance nozzle more than 30 centimetres away from adhesive trim elements.Test yourself
