The system limits the use of certain functions to keep the battery sufficiently charged.
After the engine is switched off, functions such as the radio, windscreen wipers, dipped headlights and interior lights can be used for a maximum total of 30 minutes.
This time may be considerably shorter if the battery charge level is low.Switching to economy mode
Once this time has elapsed, a message appears on the screen indicating that economy mode has been activated, and the active functions switch to standby mode.
If a phone call is in progress at this point, it will be cut off after 10 minutes.Exiting economy mode
These functions are automatically reactivated when the vehicle is restarted.
- To restore all functions, run the engine for a period of time.
The operating time of all functions will be twice the engine running time. However, it will always be between five and thirty minutes.
A flat battery prevents the engine from starting.
