Items being carried should be arranged so that their largest surface rests against:

Always place the heaviest items directly on the floor. If the vehicle is equipped with them, use the anchorage points 1 fitted in the luggage compartment floor. Load luggage so that no item can become a hazard to passengers in the event of sudden braking. The rear seat belts must always be fastened, even if no passengers are sitting in those seats.
