Tie-down hooks

Tie-down hooks 1, located in each corner of the luggage compartment, are used to secure the load.

Always load heavy items so that the heaviest of them rest against the back of the rear seat. Place the heaviest items directly on the floor. If the vehicle is equipped with them, use the tie-down hooks fitted in the luggage compartment floor. Load luggage so that no item can become a hazard to passengers in the event of sudden braking. The rear seat belts must always be fastened, even if no passengers are sitting in those seats.
