Depending on the vehicle, the seat cushion and seatback should be folded to make room for large items.
Folding the seat cushion: tilt seat cushion A forward, resting it against the front seats.
For safety reasons, perform these adjustments only when the vehicle is stationary.
To fold seatback B or C

- Insert the rear seat belt buckle into holder 1;
- remove or fully lower the head restraints (see the "Rear head restraints" section in chapter 3);

- press button 2;
- lower the seatback.
To reinstall seatback B or C
- Lift the seatback;
- make sure the seat is correctly locked.
To reinstall seat cushion A: perform the steps in reverse order. Make sure the seat cushion is correctly secured.
When raising the seatback again, make sure it is properly locked. If seat covers are used, check that they do not prevent the seatback from locking. Check that the seat belts are correctly positioned. The head restraints must also be readjusted. After carrying out any work on the rear seat, check that the rear seat belts are correctly positioned and working properly. When folding or unfolding the rear seat, check that the seat anchorages are clean (there should be no pebbles, pieces of fabric or other objects that could prevent the seat from locking correctly).Test yourself
