25. STABILIZER BAR (END LINK)

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift and support the body on safety stands.

2. Remove one rear wheel.

3. Remove nut 18, washer 19 and bolt 20 on one arm, then on the other. Then remove stabilizer bar 25 with bushings.

24. Move the stabilizer bar aside.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install stabilizer bar 25 onto rear suspension crossmember 26.

2. Install bolts 20 through the holes in the arms and stabilizer bar ends, washers 19 and nuts.

Then tighten the bolts to 80 N·m.

3. Lubricate the stabilizer bushings with liquid detergent and insert them into the crossmember.

4. Install the rear wheel. Tighten the bolts to 90 N·m.

5. Lower the vehicle.
