The vehicle is equipped with a semi-independent (twist-beam) rear suspension.
The suspension consists of two trailing arms pivotally mounted to the body and connected to each other by an open-profile cross member, two.
barrel-type coil springs and two telescopic shock absorbers. The rear suspension cross member assembly is pivotally attached by its two lugs to the
brackets on the underbody. The brackets are integral with the longitudinal body stiffening members.
The joints use rubber-metal bushings.
The lugs are formed on the longitudinal suspension arms..
The suspension connects the wheels to the vehicle body. To improve lateral stability and reduce body roll angles, the suspension is equipped with a
stabilizer bar, which is attached to both arms. Each spring rests on two
seats: the upper one located in the body, and the lower one welded to the top of the longitudinal
arm. The spring rests on the lower seat through a resilient rubber bumper. To
provide noise and vibration isolation, a resilient ring is placed between the upper end of the spring and the
upper spring seat.
