Bleeding the Clutch Hydraulic System
9. SLAVE CYLINDER.
59. BLEEDER VALVE
PROCEDURE.
1. After completing repair and assembly of the hydraulic system, bleed air from it..
2. During bleeding of the hydraulic system, keep the brake fluid level in the reservoir at or above the MIN mark..
3. Attach a vinyl hose to the bleeder valve. Place the other end of the hose into a clear container half filled with brake fluid..
4. Depress the clutch pedal slowly several times..
5. With the clutch pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder valve partially. After fluid stops flowing out of the hose attached to the valve, tighten the valve..
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 several times until no air bubbles come out with the brake fluid..
7. After bleeding the hydraulic system is complete, add brake fluid to the reservoir and bring the level up to the MAX mark.
